Easy, Comfy Outfits

I received multiple requests on how to look cute but also be comfy. I'll be honest, I had to giggle when I received these requests because lets be honest, I am a college student and some days leggings and a random t-shirt is how I go to college (like a ton of other people, too). Below you will find some of my go-to pieces that I mix and match often to create new looks.

This look is just a basic white sweater, layered with a dark green army jacket. (could be substituted for a dark green vest, for a slightly different look), basic skinny jeans, and tan suede wedges. Shoes could be substituted for taupe/tan/brown ankle or tall boots. Again, because these outfits are simple, the pieces can easily be switched out for something different.

Army jacket - Land's End, white sweater - H&M, dark denim - Banana Republic, tan suede wedges - Mossimo from Target, and gold fringe necklace - Loft.

My quick, go-to outfit for college consists of a long plum-colored, cowl neck top, black leggings, and black mid-calf boots. If you don't have a long top, you could switch it out for an oversized sweater and add a scarf.

First picture: Cowl-neck tunic - Merona from Target, black leggings - Lauren Conrad from Kohl, black mid-calf boots - Clarks. Second Picture: Oversized sweater - J.Crew, leopard print scarf - Target.

There are a million different cute but casual outfits that can be dressed up a little more with the help of accessories. I usually pick out a neutral shirt, then grab a pair of jeans, grab a classic pair of shoes then go to my accessory wall! This outfit below would be great for a casual dinner with your friends or even just an everyday look.

Gray knit top - Merona from Target, dark denim - American Eagle, and Desert boots in Taupe - Clarks

Dresses! Dresses in the fall/winter can be so fun but sometimes tights are so... well not fun. If I'm being honest, I don't like tights at all. I would rather my legs lose circulation than wear tights (I know, I'm crazy). Either way, I try to make up for it by adding a warm scarf on top of my dress or a cute jacket.

Green dress - Gap, plaid blanket scarf - Five Below (it's so nice), tan suede wedges - Mossimo from Target.

Hopefully these comfy outfits will give you inspiration for the clothes in your closet (maybe even a few new pieces). If you would like to see more posts similar to this for ideas, just comment below!
