~ Accessories, Accessories, Accessories ~

Accessories are a beautiful thing, like sprinkles on ice cream! I love them all, but how do you know what accessories to pick and how much is TOO much? Well, I am here to bring some light to the subject!

There are SO many accessories out there to choose from. I mean, all kinds of jewelry, hats, scarves, belts, purses, sunglasses and the list goes on and on! As I've shared before, necklaces are my favorite pieces to use to complete/enhance an outfit. I have over 30 necklaces! They're the first thing I look at when I go shopping. Layering necklaces and simple necklaces have been in lately. From little chains with a small stone or gem to beaded ones and more, how do you know which one(s) to wear? I generally pick out my outfit first before accessories but if you are going to an event and pick out your accessories first, that's fine as well.

If I choose a simple, basic top I, as a rule, generally choose more of a statement accessory, whether that's a scarf, purse, necklace/jewelry, etc. If I have a printed top or something more BOLD, I will choose a basic accessory.

So, how much is too much? For me, I try to stick with 2-3 accessories or less. There is no rule on how many you can wear at a time, but sometimes I think less is more. With that being said, a scarf and/or jewelry can be added with a purse and you're good to go. I am not a big purse carrier but there are tons of people that are. If you are one that likes to switch out your purses to go with your outfits, I commend you. haha. I am a wristlet person or I just grab my wallet and go.

Thanks for following along ~ Lakin
