Tips & Tricks: Green Eyes!
Hey Ya'll! Thanks so much for all your positive feedback after last weeks post! Now, let's talk about those "Greenies" as I show you one of my favorite looks to put together! I have green eyes myself, so when I have the chance to make them POP, I take full advantage! This look is super easy and has beautiful colors!

In this look, I use deep plums, some rosey pinks, and gold. The deep plum paired with the gold is known to really accent the specks of gold in green eyes, and it really helps to simply brighten the green pigment. Other colors that will also work are warmer tones, some rich reds, mahogany, and even lavender/lilac colors. Green eyes truly pair with a amazing color palette!
When beginning this look, you will start out with your normal foundation, concealer, and color correcting. When you are ready to move onto your eyeshadow, I normally will start with my "NYX Cosmetics" blurring primer that simply evens your eyelids and gives you a nice, clear surface to work with. That also allows my "24K NUDES" eyeshadows by Maybelline to go on much smoother! That step is completely optional, however it does allow for a longer lasting look. Once you apply the primer and allow it to dry, using that deep plum color I mentioned and a crease or blending brush, put that on the outer corner/crease of your eyes. I have found that it helps to blend if you use a circular motion, and always use less of the darker colors than you think you might need, because it is easier to blend more color on than it is to take it off.
After you have a nicely blended crease and outer corner, using a flat eyeshadow brush, you will want to use the gold eyeshadow and place that on your lid by simply dabbing/blotting the eyeshadow on to get the most out of one swipe with your brush. Once finished with the lid area, I will typically use the same flat brush on my inner corner, simply because there's a little bit of excess eyeshadow from my lid, and I think it blends better when mixed with the color for my inner corner. When doing the inner corner, you want to use a lighter color to brighten your eyes, so I will normally use a rose gold shadow with this look. Your look is almost complete! You then can add your favorite eyeliner, and either give yourself a dramatic wing for a night on the town, or a simple, clean line for a day at the office! Then last but certainly not least, add a few coats of mascara to finish off the look! This look is so versatile, and is great for day or night!

The Finished Look!
