Hey ya'll! So last week's post was all about a look that could complement those gorgeous green eyes out there! This week it is all about those beautiful blues! Whether your eyes are a bluish- gray or a bright baby blue, this is still the look for you!

In any of these color-based looks, your main goal is to enhance the natural color of your eyes. For blue eyes, the most flattering color palettes are warmer, more reddish tones, or light coral and taupe tones.

When beginning this look, always start with your foundation and concealer! It truly makes the difference! Once you have applied a "base coat" to your skin, I will typically use a primer to get that nice, even finish on my eyelids like I have previously mentioned. Like I said before, this step is 100% optional and it is all about preference!

Step 1:

After I fully prepare my skin, I take the "Bare Sensuals" palette by BareMinerals and my "mermaid tial" brush, with my warmer color, "Catalyst", and apply that to the outer corner and crease of my eyes.

Step 2:

Once you have properly blended your outer corner and crease to your desirable liking, you will use a flat bristled brush to apply the color, "Persuasion" to your lid. Then use the "Elf" blending brush to blend the colors so that there is no definite difference!

TIP:

Don't forget!: Don't apply too much of a dark color all at once! This can cause LOTS of fall out and can be hard to remove without removing your foundation. It is also easier to put it on rather than take it off.

Step 3:

You will then use the same flat brush that you used on your lid with the color "Shazam" and apply that to your inner corner. This will brighten your eyes and truly pull out the gorgeous blue tones in your eyes!

Step 4:

To finish off your eyeshadow, take the color "Exposed" and apply that to your brow bone, this gives extra definition to your eyes.

LAST STEP!

Last but certainly not least, apply your desired amount of eyeliner to your lash line, to either give your self a more casual daytime look or a more dramatic night time feel! Then put on a few coats of your favorite mascara, and go feel fabulous!

The Finished Look!
