#trending SPRING!
Hey everyone! It's been a crazy month full of papers that needed to be written, tests, and event after event. However, I'm so glad to be back on the blog and talking about what's in for spring!
I know lots of people that are ready for the snow to subside and the flowers + warmer weather to appear. It's that time for sure. So let's talk about TRENDS.
1.) PASTELS
This is SO fun. Lilacs, blush pinks, yellows, mint, all of the FUN colors. I am a big fan of colored pants and this would be a great way to wear pastels since depending on your skin tone, they can wash you out. Pastel shoes are also a super great way of wearing this trend. Blush pink shoes are so fun and a great neutral!
2.) BOLD COLORS
This is where you can show your true personality and let it shine. Bright and neon colors are all over the board of spring fashion. From pants to shoes to top & blouses to jewelry + accessories, you name it, it can work. I challenge you to step outside your comfort zone if you are normally a neutrals person and try something new and HAPPY!!
3.) Sneakers
This trend isn't just for the athletic people out there! This trend can take comfort to a whole new level. Pair your dresses or capris with cute sneakers for a cute, sporty look that's all the rage. Oooh and get some FUN printed socks! {I LOVE socks... they make me really happy}
4.) Trench Coats
So this is a newer thing to me and I don't believe this trend works for everyone... just my opinion. Trench coats can be hard to wear if you're like me and you're short. (I'm five foot even... zilch... zero. nothing.. a solid five foot.) Trench coats are usually very long and well, heavy however, this trend is coming back with shorter coats. They're taking the looks of trench coats and making them usable and wearable for the average person.
5.) All things SPARKLY
Sequins, glitter, disco-ish sparkles.... ALL THE GLITTER. This is also a fun trend. Whether you choose to wear a sparkly necklace to accessorize or choose a sequin shirt or skirt to wear out on a date. This trend could be as simple or elaborate as you would like it to be. I will definitely be wearing this trend over the spring and summer!
